Our chalet is nestled in the heart of nature and feels perched among the trees. Here, there are no city lights, just a spectacular starry sky. No highway noise either, only the gentle murmur of a nearby stream. This enchanting setting can come with a few downsides: although we have installed a cell signal booster, reception can be uneven or very weak depending on your carrier. And if Mother Nature causes a power outage, there will be no Wi-Fi or running water. Outages are not frequent and never very long, and the chalet has a propane fireplace to keep things comfortable. Also, despite regular maintenance and preventive treatments, you may occasionally spot insects or small “visitors” as you would anywhere in the forest. If you are looking for a 100% urban experience, this probably is not the right place. But if you want to truly unplug and unwind, you are welcome to come enjoy it! 🌲
