Today labeled "Green Station" (ecotourism label of reference for "nature" destinations), the city has a rich industrial heritage (dedicated museum, "Circuit des gueules noires" leading to the 10 most important old wells, many vestiges including the unmissable Puit Hottinguer perfectly preserved ...), hosts a multi-activity leisure center (ideal for children) as well as a developed fishing pond (with picnic areas at the water's edge) and offers many hiking trails marked as "green walks" including a nature trail with botanical trail to discover the fauna & flora of the magnificent surrounding countryside & nature, accessible just a stone's throw away (preserved gentle mountain alternating hilly bocage & vast forests).
