You're less than a quarter of an hour's drive from Walibi National Park. The house is on the Bugey tourist route. You'll discover its vineyards—Roussette, Mondeuse—and the typical villages of the Dauphiné region. You'll likely visit the Grand Colombier, which is famous for the Tour de France. Situated on the border of three departments, the Gîte de la Cascade is a central location for exploring the region's many lakes: Romagneu, Paladru, Ambléon, Aiguebelette, Vallée bleue, Le Bourget, and more. In fine weather, we'll point you in the direction of the many swimming and water sports spots. We highly recommend a visit to the historic and culturally significant Izieu, less than 10 minutes from the house.
