The Maison forestière (Forest House), located at the crossroads of the Resistance, is a major historical site during the Second World War. Tours and educational events are organized there. The Ravoir Pond is a unique site, home to the Osprey Nature Reserve, with its nests and observatory. Ouzouer-sur-Loire offers walkers numerous hiking, horseback riding, and cycling trails, as well as a fitness trail.
The cottage is just 200 m from a supermarket, 500 m from the Cosson pond, 3 km from Dampierre-en-Burly (castle), 7 km from a water park (with aqua-fun beach, Splash pad, and Pentaglis, etc.), 10 km from Sully-sur-Loire and its castle, and 15 km from Gien and its castle.
