Summary: If you love Old World charm this is the place for you. It was built in the 1700s and has been lovingly restored by the owners, Yvanna and Jean-Pierre. It was just me and my husband and it was difficult to choose one of the three large, lovely bedrooms to sleep in! (There are also two small bedrooms.) We found the bedding to be very comfortable. There was a nice electric fireplace in our bedroom for heat, which also made it very pleasant. The hosts make sure their guests are quite comfortable with heating units throughout the house, which we did need as it was pretty chilly most of the week in April when we were here. The kitchen is well-equipped and exactly as the pictures show and we had some nice meals there. It was great to have the washer but there no is no dryer; however, Yvanna graciously gave us a portable dryer to hang our clothes on to dry, which was very helpful.Although this house is located out of town it’s not far from restaurants and shopping and Yvanna made some wonderful suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. The house is on equestrian property with horses grazing in their pasture, Yvanna and Jean-Pierre live in their own apartment on the property so you feel nice and safe, yet you have a wonderful sense of privacy here.
