Domaine des Monédieres offers detached chalets and, since 2024, tiny houses of 18 m², with a view of the lake or the forest/nature, on a very spacious estate between the villages of Corrèze (4 km) and Meyrignac-l'Église (1 km). The residence is located directly on the recreational lake of Meyrignac (approx. 200 m). The center of Saint-Augustin can be reached in ten minutes (4.5 km). The very rural residence has a reception, a heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool (open during reception opening hours and depending on the weather), a sun terrace with sun loungers and a playground. You can use the washing machines and dryers as well as the wellness area for a fee. You can park your car in the central parking lot. Forests, lakes, small villages and lots of outdoor sports opportunities. That's Corrèze in a nutshell. The surrounding area is ideal for long walks and bike rides and the recreational lakes in the area offer the necessary water sports fun: swimming, canoeing, pedal boating and fishing. Of course, there are sandy beaches where you can enjoy the sun while keeping an eye on the little ones. We name a few: Etang de Meyrignac (200 m), Lac de Ruffaud near Saint-Priest-de-Gimel (12 km) and Lac de Bournazel near Seilhac (30 km). Other excursion possibilities are Tulle (22 km) and its beautiful cathedral and monastery garden or the castle of Sédières (22 km). This beautiful 15th century castle is set in 130 hectares of grounds where you can take a stroll. Slightly less well preserved, but no less interesting, are the ruins of the Château de Ventadour (32 km) with its round tower and chapel. In the village of Sarran (15 km) you will not only find the Musée Jacques Chirac, but also the Puy de Sarran: one of the peaks of the Monédières massif with a beautiful view over the Corrèze. Would you rather enjoy the power of water? Then visit the Gimel waterfalls (15 km), for a fee between March and October.
