Summary: Positives:Excellent location, beautiful views of Dunlap and pretty spacious for 6 people. very well equipped kitchen.Negatives: Check-in did not inform us that there was a gate at the front of the property that appeared to be locked, which had us wondering if we should enter. Fortunately, the lock was not closed after I got out and checked it closely. No lock box like they said and code was wrong to enter. fortunatley the deck patio door couldn't lock(one of our guest fixed the lock so it works now) and we were able to enter. owner responded pretty quick with directions. The house has not been maitained AT ALL. the deck and railings are in horrible condition. One deck board was pulled loose and curled up to the point we had to put a chair over it so people wouldn't trip on it. the microwave was taped together and not working. One other thing , they have a "boot scraper brush" screwed down to the deck, but it is placed in a walkway, not up against the cabin to the side of the door. One night we were all sitting on the side deck and one of our friends got up to go inside and tripped over this and had a horrible fall, which ruined the rest of her vacation. We have stayed in many VRBO rentals, you can tell when an owner puts forth an effort to keep their place clean and well maintained and accommodating, unfortunately, we did not feel that here. get some professional cleaning people in to do a thorough cleaning and do some exterior maintenance and you would have gotten 5 star
