Het huis ligt op de hellingen boven Le Bugue, een klein stadje aan de toegang van de Perigord Noir, het mooiste stukje van de Dordogne, met klinkende plaatsen als Sarlat la Caneda, Beynac, Castelnaud la Chapelle , en La Roque Gageac.
De stilte en kalmte, de unieke privé gelegen situatie van het huis en zwembad zijn de absolute sleutelwoorden om deze kleine parel mee te omschrijven.
Le Bugue kan gezien worden als de toegangspoort tot de Dordogne en Vezere vallei, in vrijwel alle richtingen is het ongeveer een half uur gaans om grotten, prehistorische sites, schilderachtige middeleeuwse dorpjes, thema parken en avonturen parken, etc, te bereiken.
De twee rivieren, de Dordogne en de Vezere zijn uitermate geschikt om heerlijk met een kano in af te zakken, diverse verhuurders bieden vele opties om de kastelen en prachtige oevers op deze wijze te bewonderen.
