This farmhouse sleeps 10 to 12 people and is built entirely of local stone and chestnut wood. It is inspired by the architecture of silkworm farms in the Cevennes and offers breathtaking views of the surroundings.
The heated pool is located at the back and offers panoramic views. Upon entering, you will find an atmospheric hall and a central kitchen. The living room and dining room are made of local stone and chestnut wood. From the kitchen you have a beautiful view. On the same level as the pool is a large double bedroom. A staircase leads to the first floor, where you will find double bedrooms on the left and a ground-floor TV corner on the right. The "suite" bedroom, made entirely of chestnut wood, is a unique space of 40 m2 with a private bathroom, a dressing room and panoramic 360° views.
The five bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms, one of which is a suite, and all offer exceptional views and warm furnishings. The fully equipped central kitchen, located under the green roof, opens onto a spacious wooden terrace. In the living room, there is a beautiful fireplace where you can enjoy an atmospheric fire. Built entirely with local materials, the house is perfectly insulated against cold and heat. It has been designed with respect for nature and the environment.
The one-hectare garden is perfect for a walk under the chestnut trees. It features several wooden terraces and a large swimming pool (4.00 m x 12.00 m) surrounded by lavender. The south-facing living area is sheltered from the wind and even has a pizza oven built into the wall of the terrace. The garden furniture and several pools ensure that everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. This oasis of calm offers a source of well-being and energy.
This place is ideal for nature lovers who like a certain amount of seclusion, but still want to be near iconic and cultural cities such as Nîmes, Uzès (80 km), Arles (100 km) and Avignon (120 km). For sports enthusiasts, there are numerous opportunities for hiking or mountain biking, including the Causses, the Gorges du Tarn (canoeing), Mont Lozère (canyoning) and Mont Aigoual. The nearby Gardon River (2.5 km away) with its clear water and swimming areas is also a favourite place for children of all ages to explore and play.
