Saint Projet is an authentic French village ideally located between Sarlat-la-Canéda and Rocamadour in the Lot region. This area is known for its typical French villages, beautiful castles, prehistoric caves, local markets, and numerous vineyards. There is plenty to do nearby for all ages and preferences.
Gîte “La Française” is 75m 2 and features a light, spacious kitchen and living room, along with two bedrooms. The property is surrounded by a large private garden and offers access to a new, large swimming pool. After a day of activities and sightseeing, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind.
It is the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle, with the opportunity to experience both the tranquility of the countryside and the vibrancy of the nearby towns.
The cottage is a renovated “grangette” of 75m2 equipped with all the comforts for a pleasant stay. It has its own entrance, a private parking space, a large private garden and access to a new swimming pool with magnificent views over the valley.
Additionally, Wi-Fi is available throughout the gîte, and we plan to install a Greenpoint charging station for charging an electric car.
Details
Through the entrance, you enter a spacious living area with a large open kitchen. The living space of the gîte has a bright and relaxing ambiance and is equipped with all modern comforts, making it an ideal place to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to easily prepare delicious meals.
A staircase in the living area leads down to the lower floor, which features two bedrooms. Due to their location, these rooms stay wonderfully cool during the warm days. Each bedroom is furnished with comfortable beds for a restful night’s sleep, nightstands, and wardrobes. The bedrooms accommodate four people. In the living room, there is also a sofa bed available, offering additional sleeping space.
On the same floor, there is a modern bathroom with a comfortable shower and double sink. From the hallway, you have access to a separate toilet.
A hallway with double doors leads to the spacious, private garden. Here you can enjoy the sun or cool off under one of the trees and enjoy a communal meal, a French aperitif, or simply relax after a day full of activities, history, and culture.

Garden: Picnic table, dining table and chairs, sun lounger, swing, BBQ, and plenty of space to relax in all privacy.
Swimming pool: constructed in April 2025, size 8m x 4m, adjacent terrace with sun loungers and parasols and a hard sécurity cover (NF P90-306) for the protection of children and deer.
At the moment we are still busy with the renovation of the authentic goat barn into “Gîte La Française”. But don’t let this put you off. Everything is on schedule and we promise that it will be a gem. And the big advantage: Everything will be new, including the large swimming pool that will be built in two weeks! And of course we will do everything we can to make it as pleasant as possible for our first guests.
The gîte will be available for bookings from 1 July 2025. The renovation can be followed via Facebook and Instagram.
