The house sits on the South Toe River, which has plenty of trout year-round, including wild trout (rainbow, brook, brown) You must purchase a fishing license if you would like to fish. They can be bought at most gas stations. Our neighborhood has a catch-and-release policy. You may fish from our backyard. Fishing at Rainbow pond is not allowed. You do not need a separate fishing license if you already possess a NC State-issued license.
