Property of 8000m ² located in the valley of Valdeblore, in the Maritim Alps, at 70km or 1h00 drive from Nice and the french Riviera. Welcome to the chalet 'Plein Soleil”. It offers a large living and dining room opening by sliding windows on a large stone terrace of 35m ², southerly situated. A full equipped kitchen with an open veranda and a fixed BBQ. On the floor: 5 rooms equipped with 9 beds, two bathroom with shower and bath, two WC. Garages, opened fire, solar heating and central heating. All the bedrooms open on a beautiful balcony with panoramic sight. The house offers a typical decoration and all the comfort for up to 9 people. Table, chairs, beds and relaxing chairs are available in the garden and along the terraces. You will appreciate the cleanliness of the house.
The country chalet was built in 1970 in noble materials of the country: wood and stone. Since the origin, he is called 'Plein Soleil' and offers a dominant situation with a beautiful view on the surrounding tops of the small valley of Valdeblore in the Nice back-country.
The exposition to the south is optimal and you will appreciate the thick stone walls to refresh you in the summer or to protect you from the cold during winter. Solar panels were installed in order to benefit from the generous sun to heat the house and the domestic water.
It was renovated recently and offers full comfort to up to 9 people divided into 5 bedrooms which offer each one their own color and their personalized decoration.
On the upper floor: five bedrooms, two bathrooms with bath and showers and a private WC with a hand basin. The rooms are spacious and are equipped with individual double beds of 90x200cm. All the rooms open by a door window on a large convivial balcony of 20m ² with panoramic sight. They offer vast wall storage spaces integrated with nicely painted doors in the coloured style of the Nice back country.
On the first floor, a large livingroom with an open fire and sliding windows opening on a large stone terrace of 30m ² with beautiful sight. The stay is divided into a dining room typical which opens on the kitchen, a living room with a sofa in L, the open fire, satellite TV and a pretty viewt. A WC with hand basin and an office which comprises many wall storages integrated behind nicely painted doors. In the back, a large open veranda will offer shadow and freshness around the fixed BBQ.
At the basement of the house, the entry, cellars and a large garage offers many arrangements, washing machine, dryer.
Within the garden: table, chairs, relaxing chairs and parasols.
The house is 160m² large plus 110 m² of cellars and garage and 50m ² of terrace and balcony and is surrounded by a ground of 8000m ² opening on the nature and on beautiful walks or excursions. The property has its own access road which guarantees to you quiteness in contact with the nature. During winter, cross-country skiing and ballades in rackets at the beginning of the property. Alpine ski at 1km.
The shops and the medieval village of Saint Dalmas are at 10min walk. Supermarket and shopping in the pretty small town of Saint Martin Vésubie at 10km or 10min with the car. Old thermal city with beautiful old residences,it's the door to mid and high mountain. AT the top of Saint Martin Vésubie : the “Boron” is the starting point to the mid and high mountain, famous center for nordic skiing and where you will find the 'Alpha park' with its wolves living in semi freedom.
The small family ski station of La Colmiane is 1km away from the chalet and is equipped with snow-blower in order to garantee ski and winter sports practice from December to March. 1 hour drive from Nice and the Riviera!!! You will pass from snow to the softness of the shores of the Mediterranean in the same day… At summer season, the station of La Colmiane offers you to practice VTT, paragliding, hiking in mid and high mountain with or without guide. Excursions with horses or with donkeys are possible.
The natural park of Mercantour is close and is famous for the beauty of its landscapes and its excursions which can go up to 3000m. AT 10km of the house, a motor-road will lead you to the “Madonna di Fenestre”: mountain pasture at 2000m of altitude and located in a circus surrounded by top of 3000m wich constitutes the italian border. A pleasure for hikers and the mountain climbers.
