In the summer, Shell Cottage is a fantastic home base to explore the area and simply sit and watch the ever-changing tides and shorebirds. Surrounded by windows on all sides, this bright open-concept farmhouse is the ideal space to host a getaway or family vacation. The sun streams in through windows that offer views of forests, fields, tidal shores, eagles and herons.
Rustic yet modern, the main level houses a great-room with eat-in kitchen and large living room. The dining room has expansive views to the shoreline and pasture. In the summer, a sun porch is available off of the dining room. With gorgeous views and ample seating, this room is prefect for warm weather relaxing. Additionally, the main level has a powder room, laundry closet and a wide entrance hall with heaps of room for storage. Exposed ceiling joists compliment the bright day-lit spaces.
In the living room, you will find an eclectic record collection, an abundance of board games and puzzles, and a library of books for all ages.
