The Space:
Beautiful, modern 2 bedroom (plus pull-out sofa) suite with 1 luxurious bathroom. Free parking for up to 2 cars next to the entrance. Huge patio and yard with a BBQ. Kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a fabulous stay. Bathroom has heated tile floors, opening window, and a tub/shower. If you need room for even more guests, I rent the upstairs suite as well. See my other listing! You can rent the entire house to accommodate up to 13 guests.
There is a pull-out couch and chair in the living/dining area and a queen-sized bed in each bedroom. There are 5 bar-stools at the kitchen island for dining and a highchair should you need one for your little.
Two big patios are available to you; one is uncovered and private for your use (with a BBQ), and the second is covered with a propane fire pit and couches and is shared with upstairs unit.
Guest Access:
Kitchen has everything you need for cooking/prepping meals. Coffee, tea, sugar and select spices are included. Propane BBQ on the patio! Orchard with apples, pears and plums (June/July) and fresh herbs and produce (seasonal) are for your use as well. Also strawberries and raspberries to pick in the yard (May-June) and blackberries all over the neighbourhood (July/August). *Please note: The suite does not have a dishwasher.
Netflix and wireless high speed internet included.
Large patio has a dining table with four chairs and umbrella as well as a propane BBQ. There are also lawn chairs and a picnic table for soaking up the sun in the yard :-) Covered patio has couches and a propane fire pit (shared with upstairs unit).
The yard is shared with the upstairs suite and the laundry room is shared as well (only available for stays of 5 days or longer). Covered patio with fire pit is also available for your use, but is shared with the upstairs guests. Please note: This property is located next to the small Pat Bay Highway, so you may hear moderate road noise in the yard during peak traffic times of day. As this is a basement suite you will also hear some noise from the upstairs guests if it is rented during your stay.
Interaction with Guests:
I like to leave my guests in peace, but am available at any time should you need me! Happy to accommodate you in any way I can!
House Rules:
Checkin is 4pm, checkout is 10am. This is a non-smoking property, including the yard. NO EXCEPTIONS! $50 fine for smoking on the property. There are guests in the suite upstairs at various times, so please respect that the property is shared. Be aware of noise, especially at night and in the morning. There is a $200 fine for noise complaints or if the police are called to the house. Laundry is only available for stays of 5 days or longer. Pets are allowed with prior approval first and a one-time $50 pet fee.
