In the middle of the forest, surrounded by 1.5 hectares of nature, where countless birds, deer, badgers, foxes, squirrels and much more are, a walking path across the private property continues further into the forest and gives access to adventurous walking or mountain bike routes.
A 3 century old Calvados Longère, but equipped with all comforts, fully furnished for a carefree holiday. Had a busy day? Relax wonderfully with the jacuzzi.
Enjoy a wide view over a piece of untouched nature while relaxing in the jacuzzi. It is under a roof so even in bad weather, you can stay here.
The house is surrounded by many trees and (ornamental) plants.
Furthermore, there are various soft fruit bushes (such as yellow raspberries and berries, but also Napoleon cherries) which you can pick when the season is right, a herb garden, and of course lots of nature and forest!
In the evening, deer, foxes, stoats and badgers come close to the house.
You will regularly hear deer, roe deer and owls.
During the day, many birds (more than 20 species, including the hop!) bees, butterflies, squirrels.
Walk through nature around and near the house and in the forest and discover many native flowers and plants. Often on the red list! (Rare)
In our own valley there is a small stream, the Douet.
Because of this, you can also see beautiful blue dragonflies and other special water insects.

La Maison Forestière is located exactly a few kilometers between two villages: Notre Dame de Courson and Fervaque. But officially belongs to the first.
The hamlet of La Croupte is also located almost on the country road to the house.
There are no other houses directly on La maison Forestiere. They are all at a considerable distance and do not cause any inconvenience. The access to our property is almost the last on an impasse, so a dead-end road.
In our region live English, French (Parisians), but also German nationality, and even Irish.
Multicultural.
The house is accessible via the dead-end country road, completely wooded, and here and there you will probably think: are we on the right track.
But rest assured: if you follow our signs, you will really get there.
At the end of this road, there is our large entrance sign, and you can drive onto the property via our gate.
This is a kind of 'cart track' suitable for cars. If you drive all the way down, you will come to our own house, where you must also park in the appropriate place.
You can NOT reach the holiday home by car: there is a forest road through the forest via another route, but this is absolutely impassable for cars. (Unless you have an off-road vehicle with 4-wheel drive)
Via a very short walk across the field behind our house, descending downwards (into the valley and the forest), you will come to a wooden staircase down through the trees, and you will see your holiday home and you will immediately imagine yourself in the middle of nature and the forest in a magical place.
Your holiday home is located in a quiet area. This means that parties, loud music, fireworks, etc. are prohibited.
The birds, and in the distance, every now and then mooing cows or a donkey, 'barking' deer and squeaking deer, calling owls, cooing pigeons or sounds of the farmer working his land, are normally the only ones you will hear.
