This beautifully renovated beach house ticks all the boxes for a superior island holiday.
Situated just above the beach and a few minutes walk from the village, this property has all the advantages of central positioning, but with the privacy and tranquillity of a secluded location. It boasts sensational views from the generous deck out over Oneroa Bay - this is a very special spot!
The house is stylishly furnished and boasts spacious living & dining spaces inside & out. You enter the property via a sheltered courtyard, which has a BBQ & outdoor dining table. The front door takes you into the open plan dining area, with the well-equipped kitchen to the right. A couple of steps takes you up to the living area, which opens onto the huge front deck with stunning views of the bay. This has a large outdoor dining table & chairs, and there are outdoor couches on the main deck - perfect for relaxing & enjoying the view!
Off the living room are the 2 bedrooms and the a bathroom. The master bedroom opens onto the deck & has the same lovely views. The third bedroom is off the dining area - it has 2 sets of bunks, one with a double bed on the bottom, and a sliding door can be used to separate the room in half. There is also a second bathroom beside this, with the laundry.
A 20 minute walk from the passenger ferry, and 10 minute walk down the local path to Oneroa beach, make this house a pedestrian’s dream. Should you want to explore further afield, regular buses leave from the village. There is even a great cafe immediately at the top of the drive (which as well as being very convenient for coffee & brunch can also mean some morning noise).
