Summary: Great location and overall a pleasant stay. The hotel is centrally located yet quiet, just a short walk from the Old Town and public transport. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the Lyon theater. There is no elevator, and guests must climb a few flights of stairs to reach the lobby and rooms — something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. Although there is no air conditioning, a fan and portable cooling unit were provided and worked well. The receptionist, Marcia, was highly professional, kind, and always helpful — she truly added a positive touch to the experience. I mentioned in advance that I was visiting for my birthday, but there was no welcome note or birthday gesture, which would have been a nice touch. Still, the hotel offers great value for money, and I would consider staying again.
