Welcome to the heart of a rich and unspoilt nature!
30 km from Puy-en-Velay city of art and history and train station and 2 hours drive from Lyon (Lyon Saint Exupéry airport). Here you will find calm and fresh air in a preserved environment. Our house is ecological: we used sustainable materials such as wood, straw and earth. It is located in a small village with all amenities on site. Our studio is perfect for couples and solo travelers.

This charming studio is fully equipped and new (construction 2016). We have arranged it carefully for the best comfort of our visitors, while favoring ecological materials. The house has a wooden frame and an insulation in straw bales. We favored stainless steel for all kitchen accessories. The kitchen has a fridge, 2 induction hob, an extractor hood, a combined oven (microwave and traditional), an electric oven with rotating heat, a dishwasher. A television arm articulated who can look at the sofa (2 seats, non convertible) as the bed (real bed 160 cm wide, new bedding). Triple glazing, electric heating, VMC. Large solid wood cupboards with drawers and wardrobe with hangers.
Our travelers also have a balcony equipped with a table and two chairs for lunch outside when they wish.
The studio has an independent entrance from the rest of the house where we live, only the entrance door into the house and the entrance vestibule are in common.
The rental of the studio can be coupled with that of our Roulotte (see announcement ABRITEL # 1560383) which has a capacity similar to the studio (Large bed 160 + possibility to add a child mattress on the ground).
Cleaning is not included in the price. A cleaning deposit of 50 euros is to deposit the day of your arrival. It is returned to you if the studio is left clean, unmade bed and emptied bins, retained in the opposite case to cover the expenses of cleaning.
The studio and its balcony are for private use.
We live on site and are at the disposal of our travelers to show them all the good addresses Estables and surroundings!

Attention, we do not have the Wifi but the studio is equipped with wired internet access (USB, Ethernet cable provided).
All electrical cables are shielded to minimize maximum magnetic wave emissions in the house.
Some information about Les Estables:
Our village is located in the middle mountain (1400 meters) on the borders of the Haute-Loire and with a foot in Ardeche, in the heart of the Mezenc massif (1749 meters the highest point), a rich and preserved nature. All amenities are located on site, which allows to do without cars for the most part: supermarket, bakery, butcher, cafes, restaurants, tourist office .....
Many outdoor activities are possible here all year round:
* In winter: Alpine skiing or snowboarding ideal for beginners or toddlers (snow and baby-ski), cross-country skiing particularly suitable for sports (52 km of tracks), snowshoeing or "dog-friendly" sleigh, toboggan and snow-kite spot guaranteeing the most beautiful sensations ... without forgetting the inevitable snowball battles! Equipped with 5 snowguns, the snow front will allow throughout the season for the youngest and the oldest to enjoy the joys of skiing.
* In good weather: Many hiking trails (GR, PR, Santiago de Compostela and Stevenson for the most famous near the Estables
From the Mezenc or Mount Gerbier de Jonc (source of the Loire 10 km from here) there is a magnificent view across the Rhone Valley on the entire chain of the Alps, from Mont Blanc to Mont Ventoux, and to the West from the Cevennes to the Chaîne des Puys.
We are in a Natura 2000 area with an exceptional botanical site, 80 rare species have been identified including many alpine species.
Many opportunities for climbing, cycling / mountain biking, paragliding, swimming in lakes (Issarlès and Saint-Martial) or in the Loire, fishing, bungee jumping, bike-rail, small tourist trains etc ....)
The Estables are not served by any public transport. The nearest train station is at Puy en Velay (30 km). The Puy en Velay airport serves Paris-Orly in 1 hour (Hexair company). Lyon Saint Exupéry airport is 2 hours and 20 minutes drive. On site, apart from the essential amenities that are in the village (see above), a car is essential to take advantage of all the possibilities offered by our region.
