Explore the Marais Breton during a stay in this cottage, in the heart of a preserved natural space! In a 70-hectare wetland, a Sensitive Natural Area and labeled Territories of Wild Fauna, you will stay near the Abbey of Ile Chauvet (5.8 km) and the port of Champs (9.2 km). Further excursions will take you to Noirmoutier (bridge 30 km, Passage du Gois 20 km) or to the beaches of La Bernerie en Retz (20 km) or La Barre de Monts (30 km). This renovated house offers you, on the ground floor, a laundry room, a living room/lounge/kitchen with a dartboard and a veranda with an exceptional view of the marsh (binoculars available for wildlife observation). A hallway leads to the first two bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed), a bathroom, a toilet (accessible via one step), and a relaxation area. From this room, you'll access a wellness area with a shower, sauna, and four-person spa, and a second separate toilet, as well as a third bedroom (one queen-size bed) and its annex (two single beds). Upstairs, you'll find a final bedroom (one queen-size bed) with a private bathroom and toilet.
Outside, you'll enjoy an enclosed garden with a partially shaded terrace (garden furniture, deck chairs, gas grill), as well as a second upstairs terrace from which you can observe the surrounding nature. To preserve biodiversity, the natural meadows are not accessible.
The accommodation is located on a site with meadows where cows graze for part of the year. You may encounter the site manager during wildlife or plant monitoring activities or during wetland restoration work.
Heating, end-of-stay cleaning, bed linens, and towels are included.
